About the Image(s)

I didn't do a whole lot to this one but I did dodge in the white flowers to add more contrast with the red. Sharpened a little and added the stroke.

Lovely Fall colors Marti and I like the dodging of the foreground flowers, but perhaps a little less dodging would give them less attention. I wonder if toning down the trees on the right would give more dominance to the trees on the left.   Posted: 01/10/2022 10:45:32

Beautiful fall image! Nice composition, great capture of colors and good post-processing.   Posted: 01/10/2022 12:37:56

The dodging of the white flowers added a counter-balance to the light sky at the top, and helps to frame the orange-red leaves of the trees. Having said that, maybe you could crop down from the top a bit to eliminate the brightest portion of the sky. If you did that, then the white flowers could act as a kind of support for the pattern of the leaves, almost like a vase.   Posted: 01/11/2022 07:43:13

Very nice fall colors. I thought the background of yellow and the foreground of red presented a good contrast.   Posted: 01/12/2022 12:29:07

Yummy fall color photo. I like how the stems of the white flowers act like leading lines to the sub actor (white flowers) and onto the main actors. The color of the trees look natural and represent a true fall day. I would want to play with the luminosity of the sky to see if I could bring out more blue.   Posted: 01/14/2022 09:41:02

The colors are great. My suggestion would be to crop down from the top. It would get rid of most of the sky and would direct the eye to the lower branches of the trees where the best color is.   Posted: 01/14/2022 13:58:32
