About the Image(s)

The original is a digital copy of a large print, which was created from two similar, but different negatives. One of the negatives was flipped to create the Rorschach effect. The abstract negatives were created by reflecting fresh flowers on a large Mylar sheet and photographed in shaded daylight.
I am sure you can guess the rest. After creating multiple copies of the image and flip-flopping them horizontally and vertically, I sized them accordingly and placed them on various blank backgrounds. dimension

Very, very creative Joe! I think your color combinations are extremely effective and really make the whole thing pop. I think your method is much, much nicer than some of the artificial ways we create abstracts, such as with the PS swirls, etc. It's beautiful!

Joe -- what a bold, vivid, and beautiful graphic! This image is really just dominated by blues and reds, but with an almost infinite variation of tones. Let the figure spotting begin -- I see a machine-owl top center and two women praying to heaven in the upper corners. Holy Freud, batman! I love staring at this pic. Great job!   Posted: 11/10/2021 18:13:08

This is very attractive and appealing. The way you have compiled the layers makes it an eyecatcher. No doubt a very time-consuming project.   Posted: 11/12/2021 10:08:33

Thank you for all the appreciation of my image. Mylar reflection abstracts are fun to do and they are not hard to do. Figure spotting is the best part of it. Thank you and try it some time.   Posted: 11/13/2021 14:53:22
