About the Image(s)

I like looking at bark and tree parts. This image was taken with my Canon SX50 in Yellowstone during the 2015 conference. Shot in RAW at f/5.6 - not sure on the speed.
I see at least 3 animals in this image. What do you see?

I too like tree parts and bark and I love the texture of this wood.
I see an alligator head at top left, a sward fish middle left and a chicken head bottom left. All three have eyes.   Posted: 10/07/2021 10:51:11

I missed the alligator. Now there are 4. :)   Posted: 10/07/2021 13:02:09

Very nice textures and reinforcing arcs. The only problem is the brown in the upper right side, which is a little distracting, but a great abstract image, which could hang on someone's wall as a conversation piece.   Posted: 10/08/2021 15:59:13

In the wood -- a fish, or even a snake's head? Looking toward the left.   Posted: 10/08/2021 16:08:41

I think that's Joe's alligator. :)   Posted: 10/08/2021 17:21:46

An interesting texture shot with lots of highlights and contrast. Very sharp throughout. It is a good zoo composition - - like watching faces change in cloud formations.   Posted: 10/09/2021 10:14:53

It's very interesting to try and see how many partial heads and faces are in this piece of wood. The alligator to me is an elephant with partial trunk. Nice puzzle Marti!

I love wood texture and finding the creatures living in the natural creations. I see the alligator, elephant and a bird. I am wondering if this is the same tree root I found at Paint Pots. I would like to see the contrast and texture bumped up just a bit.   Posted: 10/24/2021 09:10:13
