About the Image(s)

This scene is a found still life. I did not arrange it, but I liked the look of it. The coloring straight out of the camera was way off, and even after I corrected it, the image was pretty blah I thought. So I took it into Topaz Studio 2 and applied a look called Golden Madonna. I like the result and hope you do too.

Yes! The subject, warm tones and composition, all say: "Fall". I think that a little more cropping from the right would help the composition.   Posted: 10/04/2021 10:18:38

Very nice fall image -- beautiful colors and nice details. The roughness of the old chair really adds to the image by 'supporting' the pumpkin (both in reality and as part of the composition). I tried fooling around in Photoshop with the slanting of the bricks using the distort and skew tools, and I applied Joe's crop suggestion.   Posted: 10/08/2021 16:27:05

This is really well done. I do agree with the cropping suggestions, however, the overall image is very homey and country. Excellent job on the modifications. The weaving in the old chair really adds to the texture of the composition. Also a real plus is the antique look of the chair with the peeling paint. The foliage just adds to the appearance. Excellent coloration. I really like this one   Posted: 10/09/2021 10:20:04
