About the Image(s)
This is an image of an old grist mill near Elkhart, IN. I did some basic editing in Lightroom, mainly exposure. The Original is the image after Lightroom edits. The next editing was done in Photoshop where I replaced the sky. The final editing was done in Analog Efex Pro 3, and I used a preset which converted the image to black and white and created the border.

Lovely portrait of a nice old building. Reminds me of the Walker Evans styles from the 1930s that were captured with the big view cameras and black-and-white film.   Posted: 02/04/2025 18:37:32
I love the image and I like old grist mills as well. I think your contrast and textures are well done but I found the sky change is grainy and seems to have a light line across the top.   Posted: 02/04/2025 23:29:48
I think the black and white conversion created that streak in the sky. It was a pretty grungy filter, and I liked the looks of it, but didn't notice that streak. I'll have to clean that up.   Posted: 02/07/2025 22:19:54
