Have to agree with Michael. Subject good, focus lacking. For a close-up like this focus is essential. Love the red eye. Coots are so common, but really quite photogenic.   Posted: 09/05/2023 16:37:47

Mike, I have to admit that I have never seen a coot eating a minnow. Normally they feed on the vegetation. Maybe the UK Coots prefer fish.   Posted: 09/08/2023 13:07:30

Both shots are great, Mike. Try using a plugin like Topaz Sharpen AI on the first image, this should bring it up better. It was a difficult shot considering the motion involved.   Posted: 09/18/2023 10:56:14
