A very good view of the egret within it's surroundings. Showing off those long feathers beautifully. I think that the background shadows could be lightened a tad. I have tried this, together with tidying up a few small eye-catching bright areas. I think that it lifts the bird a little from it's background including those long dark legs. I trust you don't object to me messing about?   Posted: 10/01/2024 09:42:17

Good morning Mike, please remember on my images, you can change, dodge, burn or whatever. That's exactly what the Digital Dialog Group purpose is, in my book. I like your subtle changes a lot. Much better!   Posted: 10/01/2024 12:19:25

I wouldn't have noticed the dark background as usually that is a plus, but have to acknowledge Mike's brightening the greens does make the lovely egret pop.   Posted: 10/02/2024 14:51:17

Really like the textures of the fine, breeding plumage and the similarly white Queen Anne's Lace blooms. Mike's version indeed allows seeing the bird's legs which completes the view of the bird.   Posted: 10/09/2024 21:55:35

Tom, I agree also that Mike's version with lightening the darkest background areas improves the images and makes the egret's legs more visible.   Posted: 10/23/2024 20:04:56
