About the Image(s)

I want to record the process of the blood moon eclipse.

I use PS to combine the horse head rock with a series of photos I took for the blood moon eclipse on 26/5/2021.

I also want the horse head rock surrounded by the blood moons. I used mirror effect in PS by click and hold on the image and dragging it downward to the point where the flipped image is below the normal image

Horse head rock

My camera setting: 14mm, F/4.0. 121 sec, ISO 1000

The blood moon

camera setting: 400mm, f/8.0 1.3 sec, ISO: 3200

An interesting image and one that certainly has recorded the blood moon eclipse well. I would be careful of halos - look around the edges of the rocks so I would work on removing those. Is the bottom curve of moons a step too far? maybe tone those down so they are not so obvious?   Posted: 06/09/2021 07:38:57

Very nice, serene image. The reflection may be curved a little too much. Perhaps making the reflection a straight line, moving it a little more toward the rock, elongating the reflections toward the front and adding a gaussian blur? You could also add a touch of light to the top of the rocks   Posted: 06/09/2021 08:47:54

A beautiful image that demonstrates your photography and creative skills. I agree with the above suggestions.   Posted: 06/10/2021 09:02:06

Placing the "horse" rock under the lines of the moon is very well done....The touch of color on the left horizon adds to the story too....   Posted: 06/14/2021 22:48:51

I really like your treatment of the eclipse and the composition you created. The reflection adds another dimension to the image. I will leave the more technical critique to those that have more knowledge than I; but creatively, the composition is well done.
