About the Image(s)

The original is a section of an abstract designed section of carpet. I couldn't convince my wife to purchase it.

I applied a Topaz Studio 2 color contrast filter, distorted it and applied gaussian blur to the corners.

Interesting concept. The color contrast works well. Nice touch with the gaussian blur. Perhaps darkening the background would make the orb stand out a little more. (my opinion)   Posted: 06/02/2021 15:13:57

I'll try darkening the background to see if I prefer it. Thanks.   Posted: 06/03/2021 09:00:25

An interesting manipulation. Reminds me of a globe showing population or something like that! Would change the BG colour as recommended by Tom   Posted: 06/08/2021 14:26:06

Who would have thougtt this started off as a bit of carpet?!
Very colourful and perfect for a square image. I can see faces and a bird amongst the array of colours.   Posted: 06/09/2021 10:11:04

I'm glad you are enjoying finding things in my picture. Obviously, I thought it had potential when I took the picture. The filters we have offer us unlimited possibilities. I regret not knowing more about Photoshop in order to advance my creative works further.   Posted: 06/09/2021 15:02:36

Interesting concept. I love all of the colors as it reminds me of opening the door to my dryer and seeing all of the colors of my clothing nice and dry. All kidding aside, I think you did a good job with what you had to work with.   Posted: 06/10/2021 14:56:57

Your drier has a better light than mine. Maybe, I'll take a few pictures of clothes in my drier. That would be the 6th idea I've gotten from reviewing many of the DDGs this month.   Posted: 06/10/2021 19:37:16
