A wonderful still life...great composition, color and lighting. My only suggestion is to consider placing a fruit in the dark space at the center and see if that enhances the image further.

I think the lighting makes the shot. I like the way the purple vase or whatever it is just fades to black on the right. To me it contributes to the mood of the image. Normally I think I would prefer that the fruit not be arrainged to sort of create a line across the bottom, but it seems to work. personally I think the well defined green and red of the apples is so different from the softness of the rest of the image that I think that detracts a bit but I like the image.   Posted: 11/25/2023 18:57:06
