About the Image(s)
My intent with this photo was to capture the impact of first light on the boulders. To accomplish this, myself and the folks I was traveling with got up very early one morning and while still dark hiked onto the beach. I should add that walking on this beach is not for the faint of heart! The boulders can move when you step on them…and as well there were patches of poison ivy. Luckily I was able to avoid the poison ivy and found a large, relatively stable boulder to sit down on <I say relatively stable because I did find myself rolling around a bit!… Thankfully my camera was on a tripod so it stayed put>…Then I waited for the sunrise and I hope I achieved what I set out to do. I’ve been to Acadia National Park many times but this was the first time I got to Boulder Beach before sunrise…well worth it!
Any comments/suggestions are appreciated.

Magnificent! Strong impact. The colors in the sunset and the reflections in the water and rocks are beautiful. Nice composition. It was worth getting up early. It deserves to be framed.   Posted: 11/06/2021 08:22:23

This image has nice depth of field and leads the eye into the image. There is a lot of interesting lines and textures as your eye moves through the boulders to the colors of the sunrise reflecting in the water and the interesting clouds and colors in the sky. Nice image.   Posted: 11/07/2021 18:37:40
