RED COLUMBINE by Norm Solomon

October 2021 - RED COLUMBINE

About the Image(s)

I took this image in a local native plant garden—it did not bloom for ling so I was lucky to be in the right place at the right time. I was struck both by the vibrant color and delicacy of the flower.

Hi Norm, Lovely use of light and complimentary colors. The flower is sharp and bokeh soft. Nicely done!

Hi Norm,
Its lovely that you were able to capture so much detail in this close-up of the columbine. The complimentary colors and simple background enhance the shape and beauty of this image. Well done!   Posted: 10/07/2021 10:22:40

I like the way you have selected to capture one bloom. The colour is striking particularly against the green background.
Well positioned in the frame and sharp where it matters.   Posted: 10/15/2021 06:58:35
