About the Image(s)

Just like horses, llamas need their teeth filed periodically. This is a portrait of my llama Dr. Doolittle after he had his teeth filed by the vet. I cropped in to concentrate on his smile. I removed twigs and branches sprouting from around his head, then tuned image in SnapSeed and then added a bit of glamour glow.

Hi Harriet, This in my view is a wonderful animal portrait...What a great smile! My only suggestion would be, if possible, to use the `portrait mode' on the iphone (I have the iphone 10 & find this softens the background).

Hi Harriet, Dr. Doolittle's color is already black and white. I would convert the whole picture into black and white and I would straighten it a little to accentuate his tall neck. By doing this, I think my eyes would be more drawn to him rather than his surroundings.   Posted: 06/07/2021 17:05:05

Hi Harriet,
I need to compliment you on another handsome member of your family. You captured a beautiful portrait. I do agree with Marcela in that it would be a good black and white image. After converting to b&w, maybe darkening the background would give Mr Doolittle more attention. You must have a nice collection of all your animals' photos.   Posted: 06/09/2021 19:14:46

What another splendid member of your menagerie. You did the right thing with the crop and tidying up the background. A great portrait of an enchanting animal.   Posted: 06/14/2021 03:49:12

Sharp image. I may have tried to reduce the depth of field a bit (always easy to be like a back seat driver) to reduce the attention to the tree leaves   Posted: 06/17/2021 08:54:18
