About the Image(s)

A mobile phone pic taken in the garden. Basically just cropped and then softened using a Topaz filter (90s cloud) then a removal of a spot at the bottom. I wondered about cropping off the purple right hand side, what do you think?

Andrew, this is a very soft, dreamy image which could go well as a greeting card. I don't think you have to crop off the purple right side but either way works.

I also very much like the original image.

This is a simple subject made even more appealing with your treatment. I agree with Henry, no need for more cropping.   Posted: 07/05/2021 07:06:35

Lovely delicate treatment. I like the way that the flower covers the whole of the frame. Regarding the right side area don't crop, simply do a light clone from the pink area at 20% opacity to correct the colour.   Posted: 07/05/2021 12:46:56

Simplicity here. Just goes to show you do not have to use a multitude of steps to create a fine image. As others commented this could go straight on to a greetings card or a cafe wall.   Posted: 07/12/2021 09:18:51
