About the Image(s)

The original, taken at a steam punk festival, has done well for me. I cloned out the helmet on the ground, lightened the image, ran it through Topaz A1CT fiddling with the opacity to suit. There was a line along the top which I cloned out then altered the lightness of the finished image. It looks quite different but I am not sure if it is better so would welcome your comments.

I reckon your hard work was worth all the effort. You have created an individual piece of artwork. I'm sure the bike fanatic would agree too, since you have managed to reduce his age considerably! I wonder, for the sake of balance, if a small sliver should be taken off the base of the image?   Posted: 05/03/2021 02:58:42

I really like this artistic photo. Of course the original is great too. I would also take out the Helmut. Love the effects you did!   Posted: 05/05/2021 11:26:59

Andrew, you've done a great job with a photo that was fascinating to start. The biker and his bike are both the stars of the image, and your treatment shows them both well.   Posted: 05/08/2021 07:34:29

I love this most artistic creation ! You might want to blend this version WITH the original for another look !   Posted: 05/09/2021 12:54:32

I'll have to learn how to do that! Thanks.   Posted: 05/19/2021 05:33:07

This has a jigsaw like look when first viewed, then looking more closely you see artistic effect. I would consider trying to emphasise the bike with a sharper outline but confess I am not sure how to do this; perhaps Mark has the right idea.   Posted: 05/10/2021 03:10:26
