About the Image(s)

It’s back to the table top photography for this month and a try-out of a technique of intentional camera movement after a zoom presentation from a speaker who is much better at it than me! This is basically three layers as well as five focus stacked image of the main flower. One of the original flowers and two others in which I moved the camera as I pressed the shutter with the intention of creating something a little different. Parts of the overlying layers were painted out at varying degrees of opacity to reveal the standard image underneath. Taken on a Fuji XT3 with the main image 1/60 at f10 ISO 200 and the blurred images 1/8 at f22

Like the effect, Peter. Thanks for explaining what you did here. Those flowers in motion seem to opt the ones in focus - a sort of framing of them. I did try to up the contrast   Posted: 05/05/2021 07:55:07

I like the presentation. There was clearly a lot of work to create the results. I am also impressed you were able to take the five focus stacked images and put this together.   Posted: 05/07/2021 18:59:24
