About the Image(s)
This is a picture I took of a cocoa bean laying on a chocolate bar. So what I am trying to stress is the beauty of the natural bean and the anticipated flavor of the delicatessen that can be obtained out of it.
Technical details.

Very creative and interesting idea for a photo. Now I gotta go look for a candy bar! Well done.   Posted: 10/10/2024 12:31:19

Ok, this image makes me hungry, no lie - suddenly I have an urge to find some chocolate. The lighting is well balanced, but the cocoa nut looks a little soft on the focusing. Would be nice to see the second candy bar in focus or eliminated. The composition is appealing - maybe cropped ever so slightly too tight. I think you achieved your goal of expressing (no pune intended) the cocoa bean and what it can become.   Posted: 10/12/2024 14:28:01

I like your idea of the bean and what it can produce. The two chocolate bars are well focused-clear printing under cellophane. My personal choice would be to include the cocoa bean and both of the chocolate bars. To me they are the true subjects of the image.   Posted: 10/12/2024 19:21:40

Great creativity in setting this up. The focus looks a little soft, especially of the candy bars. The bright background is quite distracting. If you had control of that element, you could have eliminated it. The second candy bar should be either clearly a part of the image or eliminated.   Posted: 10/12/2024 20:21:38

An interesting composition and concept. I like your idea. To be quite honest I had no idea what a cocoa bean looked like. This picture tells me and shows the end result. To me the background is a bit distracting if possible it would have been nice if it had been tidied up a bit.   Posted: 10/13/2024 13:16:43
