About the Image(s)

This is an image of curios collected by my wife during our visit to Goa in the first week of December, 2021. This is just 10cm height and prepared from steel nuts and bolts. Camera : Samsung A52 mobile. f/1.8, 1/100sec, IOS-40, 5mm, center weighted average. In Photoshop the perspective was corrected and then trimmed image. Adjusted levels, curves followed by denoice in Topaz.

Very nice capture of an interesting display. Putting a thin white trim defines the subjects nicely.   Posted: 01/04/2022 19:06:59

Well done. Good lighting. How was it lit?

Almost front lighting from the window. The subject was placed on black cloth. To adjust perspective white papers were placed to mark the rectangle. The angle of the shot was at about 45 degrees. This will help me to covert this image to a Phantogram.   Posted: 01/07/2022 09:41:59

Great job on a very difficult task. I have tried to photograph small, shiny objects and quickly realized it is a VERY difficult task to get both the sharpness and the lighting correct. Your image is well done!   Posted: 01/07/2022 20:10:06

Try with mobile phone camera, it appears easy to me for such photograph   Posted: 01/20/2022 10:56:16

Very creative artistry. I have no experience trying to photograph subjects made of this type of material. Everyone mentions the difficulty with lighting. I wonder if using a color background
( maybe yellow) would make the subject "pop". Did you try other background materials? The composition is great.   Posted: 01/17/2022 15:33:52

For me background is good for sculptures to pop up. Good lightening with no overexposed areas, which are common for such metal objects. I'm surprised about large DOF. Perhaps mobile has so small sensor.   Posted: 01/20/2022 15:57:54
