About the Image(s)

This photo was taken in October in Hill City South Dakota with my I-Phone 11 Pro Max in Live View and post processed with the Snapseed App using filters for sharpen, structure, brightness, saturation and vibrance.
I experimented with the drama filter and decided I liked it. What do you think??

Kathleen, I like the drama effect making the image more like a painting than a photograph. The original was OK but rather boring. This made definitely made the shot more interesting.   Posted: 11/10/2021 17:19:30

Kathleen, what a GREAT image. The color story and drama you created in post-processing are very effective. It is interesting that the sky in your processed version actually looks like snow covered trees. The painterly effect was definitely the way to go with this image.   Posted: 11/17/2021 15:23:48

Yes, I think your filter gives the image more ancient look.   Posted: 11/20/2021 16:05:06

Looks like a nice painting. I liked the original more than the processed one. The train is tilted towards the right side. It can be corrected.   Posted: 11/22/2021 02:28:24

I too prefer the original. Tilt is the wrong way for banking for the turn, so it should be correction. Photoshop perspective crop works. Better if it was coming toward the camera. But that said it is well composed, has good background and is and attractive photo.   Posted: 11/22/2021 17:42:08
