This shot was taken in 2016. I like the model’s pose and the environment. Now I redid the post-work and trying to make it look better. I attached my original work. How do you think? Welcome any comments and suggestions. Thanks!

Very nice image Xiao, positioning of model against the sky with the city scape in the background gives a sense of environment and depicts a young professional working. You have done well to process this from the original. Colour balance is good with the focus on the model working well.The only minor suggestion would be to clone out the crane gantry from the top of the computer screen, also there is a greenish colour shift around the models hair. Hi Xiao - I think that this is my favorite composition that you've submitted. It strikes me as fresh and creative. The angle of the shot has a nice effect. The laptop kind of gets lost and in my mind the image would be strong even without it. Tom has a good catch with the greenish color coming off the model's hair - I hadn't noticed until I read his comments. Once I did though, on my computer, it appears there is a faint greenish cast across the entire image. As always, there is nice emotion and the story is clear. Well done -

Hi Xiao,
I agree with Tom and Darcy that you have presented a very nice image. Using the sky to simplify the background works really well with this model. I also like how you captured the movement of her hair. Another nice image.

Nice image. I agree with the suggestion to remove the gantry at the top of her laptop. I don't see the green cast, but then again my 83 year old eyes sometimes miss subtle things. Overall very well done. Posted: 05/16/2021 06:26:36
Good catch on the gantry "growing" from the laptop. That is a bit distracting. I only see the greenish tint on the building; the color on the model's face seems fine to my eyes.
You might consider just a tiny crop in from the left to place her more into the left-hand third of the image and remove those smaller buildings.

against the model worked well here. Well composed and well balanced as usual. But like tom and others pointed, if Gantry on the corner of the laptop could be removed, would give a better output. Nice work. Well done.
