About the Image(s)
This month due to unforeseen circumstances I have not had the ability to get out and use the camera, SO went downstairs and played with macro using focus stacking.
This feather is around 2 inches or 50 mm. The bird is a Rainbow Lorikeet, and I understand from the web search the white fluffy sections are called either, after feathers or downy feathers.
Using 105 mm Lens at F3.2 and 64 ISO. Set camera at 25 to 30 mm from closed part of feather, stepped the focus using 20 images to then focus stack in Photoshop. A little bit of work in Photoshop, minor saturation changes.
