About the Image(s)
I took this image in 2020 from the window in our house in California. This guy spent quite a lot of time in our backyard trees surveying the small birds that visited our birdfeeder. It was taken with my Sony Rx10iv, with the lens at 216mm, 1/80 of a second, ISO 2000, f5. In post-processing, I cropped and straightened the image, eliminated a stick coming right out of the top of his head, brightened the highlight in his eye, and added a vignette. When I came across this image looking through some old folders, it brought back happy memories of the view from our window and I thought I would share it with you all for suggestions. I'm thinking that I may need to print it for our new place in Colorado.

My only suggestion is to make a print. Your work in postprocessing is right on and the color palette brings out the feeling of Autumn. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful environmental nature shot, colour and patterns on the bird come through very well with the misty background adding to the story. Your post work works well to enhance the image, overall a very beautiful image.   Posted: 10/16/2024 07:14:39
Well captured shot and I like your crop - he's definitely staring intently at something!   Posted: 10/17/2024 11:58:30
What a great shot! I can't think of anything I could recommend other than printing it.
Thanks for sharing.
