a very moving close up of this flower, and without knowing it's a flower assumed you had captured something from an alien world in Doctor WHO.   Posted: 05/03/2023 17:24:18

Unusual crop and beautiful close-up of this flower. The flower in the background adds depth. A lovely shot.   Posted: 05/12/2023 08:27:24

This definitely fulfills the assignment with an image that is 90% yellow. I like your use of DOF to highlight the petals that are close to the viewer. And the directional lighting gives a nice sense of contrast to the petals in the middle of the frame. You end up with three "stripes" of flower petals: an out of focus stripe, a sunlight stripe with nice shadows and reflections, and an unlit stripe which really shows how monochromatic the flower petals are.   Posted: 05/22/2023 15:51:06

An almost monochrome abstract. I would have loved to see the whole frame filled with sharp or or out of focus petals.   Posted: 05/27/2023 09:02:00
