I worked for a Japanese company for 35 years and the addition of the word "complicated" in the title of the image is so very correct. This is a great composition and perfect depth of field to highlight the subjects. I'm glad you resisted temptation and didn't crank up the color contrast (which I probably would have done) in post processing because the colors as captured are true to the sense of subtlety that defines the culture.   Posted: 08/26/2022 10:17:47
