I love the composition and the boat identifies where you were. I recommend that you try an HDR series of image, perhaps 3 images separated by 2 stops in order to better capture the broad dynamic range. The sun would still probably be blown out but the halo around the sun might be reduced and there would be more detail in the foreground. The human eye can register a higher dynamic range as compared to a camera sensor which is limited by the number of photons that can be stored in each pixel before saturation occurs.   Posted: 05/22/2022 11:41:08
