I bought this statue in Thailand about 30 years ago and have always like the shadows that are cast from the lights where it stands. I applied a Sun Glow filter in On1 Effects that placed a light source in one hand and then converted it to B&W using Silver Efex Pro 3 with a High Structure Harsh filter.

How cool this is! Creative use of the sun filter to illuminate the light from the statue's hand and add mystery and drama.   Posted: 01/09/2022 12:26:52

Cool idea to think outside the box and the shadow make me wonder if the statue will tell the "WHOLE TRUTH" but as I not with ear shot I would have assume MAYBE.   Posted: 01/09/2022 15:12:09

A great study into solid items and their softer shadowy sides. B&W helps minimise what we see, here just the statue and its shadow without having to think of the colours.   Posted: 01/15/2022 07:51:24
