The flower in B&W comes alive and feel one could walk right and make ones own a apartment / flat with shadows us to think is this POSSIBLE.   Posted: 01/09/2022 15:13:28

Very nice macro work. Since my waterlilies are only open in the sun, I am curious how you took this shot. The light and shadows make the lily very mysterious and the result is that I can see the structure of a waterlily in a totally new way. Good job.   Posted: 01/10/2022 17:01:02

Thanks, Paul,
Here's a copy of the original. It was shot during the day, underexposed, with the sun coming from the side. I then used radial filters in Lightroom and burning in Photoshop to create the image. It took some experimenting.   Posted: 01/11/2022 09:48:45

Great capture. Very sharp. I'm guessing you placed a light behind the flower to get that lighted effect?   Posted: 01/10/2022 21:53:42

A gorgeous image. It works so well in B&W so well done on going that way. I much prefer this to the coloured version. A very good example of the use of light and the capturing of the small shadows. Well done!   Posted: 01/15/2022 07:49:01
