CAN’T READ by Timothy Morton, APSA

January 2022 - CAN’T READ

About the Image(s)

Another old image due COVID-19 stuff, and this one I found in old book of my photos, and my writing above is unreadable, so my techniques scanned the print using my edition of Canadian application of Corel Paint Shop Photo Pro and the re-sized the width to 1000 px and saved as JPEG for sharing.

Hopefully sooner or later, I will be able to go out future just walking within 10 blocks of my apartment / flat.

Lastly everyone and their families stay safe

Interesting shot with the light creating a backlit effect on the subject. It looks really old, like something from an old photo from the early 1900s. The blur around the subject adds to the impact of the picture.   Posted: 01/09/2022 12:20:46

Great subject matter and use of bokeh to highlight the main character. The shadows do a good job helping define the space.   Posted: 01/10/2022 17:13:28

Great use of blurring. Sepia toning is a nice added touch.   Posted: 01/10/2022 21:46:13

It doesn't really matter how the effects were achieved, this is a great image. It makes good use of the light. My only point would be the large amount of white in the bottom right.   Posted: 01/15/2022 07:42:13

I didn't see that when I scanned, now mentioned it's so clear wonder how I could have missed.   Posted: 01/15/2022 08:03:34
