About the Image(s)
Backstory: Our area is having a drought but we had a few recent rains and last week I drove 2.5 hours into the mountains to what on the internet looked like an interesting waterfall. It was dry. Today I found a stream nearby with running water, and though it isn’t very big, it is the best I could do.
Taken with a Nikon D500 and Nikkor 16-80 lens at f / 8.0, ISO 100, three shots 2 stops apart to create HDR image
HDR image using HDR Efex Pro 2. Applied filters in Color Efex Pro 4: brighten center, Indian Summer, Contrast Color, Sunlight.

Great capture. It has an abstract look to it.   Posted: 11/10/2021 18:42:03

Interesting swirl of the water, starting at the top and moving to the bottom. I agree with Russell that it does have an abstract feel to it.   Posted: 11/13/2021 18:33:25

I love the colours here, especially in the bottom half. The addition of the brown leaves mirrors the gold/brown in the water. I agree with the others that it has a very abstract feel, again, especially that bottom half.   Posted: 11/20/2021 10:43:02

I love the rocks with different colour tones with slow shutter speed.   Posted: 11/23/2021 09:16:54
