About the Image(s)

Settings: Nikon d7200, 18-300 mm lens, f 6.3, 1/400 sec. ISO 640, 116 mm, Date: May 10, Gibbons Park, London Ontario

This gosling, about 2 weeks old, was part of a family of 20 goslings. In the spring time it is enjoyable to watch the new families of goslings along the Thames River. This one was the only one with his head up.

Very cite, and love how the tan goes well with the green grass and would have thought they would be so very cute together.   Posted: 06/06/2021 05:40:13

Great close up shot and detail on feathers and eye. Perfect pose and good color contrast.   Posted: 06/15/2021 10:53:38

Hi Judith, lovely image of the gosling, nice and sharp with detail on the beak and head, good catchlight in the eye with good use of the third line, the grass around the bird works well with no distractions and you have maintained a nice natural colour pallet.   Posted: 06/16/2021 17:55:45
