About the Image(s)

I found myself in a large shopping center outside town, when we decided to get lunch. It required walking across the center. They had all these outdoor games kids were playing with. These particular kids were playing Cornhole, looked like "Joy" to me, so I took a few photos with my Iphone. I didn't realize until later, that one photo had several things going on. Kids playing, then some kid had jumped on the back of someone he was walking with, and another kid was watching what I think was his brother (you have to zoom in to see the eyes.). I felt it told a story, or maybe even several stories.

I used Lightroom to crop the points of interest, and some adjustments to try to sharpen it.

I see the joyful story. And the word DAD is so appropriate for this month of June when Father's Day happens. At first, I thought the adult giving the piggyback ride was a DAD, but at close look I think it is a woman. Your cropping has cut to the interesting activity in your image. Capturing a moment in time is what such photo shots do so well. This joy is frozen in time now!   Posted: 06/11/2022 11:45:21

pretty funny. I didn't even see the "Dad" sign!   Posted: 06/18/2022 17:34:58

I noticed it right away! It's interesting to find out what other people notice in our photos!   Posted: 06/24/2022 11:13:53

You caught this moment perfectly - the people are intent on their time together, not the photographer. It brings back the innocence of childhood.   Posted: 06/11/2022 13:37:26

A great story here and when kids are playing it is a joy to watch so you captured the scene well. Glad you cropped it to focus on the activities.   Posted: 06/11/2022 14:58:44

My eye goes to the kid hopping on his Dad's back. I can just imagine that expression of JOY.   Posted: 06/14/2022 15:43:35
