About the Image(s)

When visiting the Gettysburg National Cemetery, I photographed Pennsylvania’s Memorial. I photographed the monument with a very wide angle manual lens (probably at about F 8.0) at 1/4000. In Photoshop I converted the original infrared image to mono, straightened the curve distortions, cloned out people and a large tree, increased contrast and reduced noise.

Attached are my original image, a converted mono image and an amber tinted version.

A very good example for fore- middle- and background. Sharpely cut and fit together. Well done.   Posted: 08/07/2022 09:09:49

I love scenes like this in IR. Nicely composed and processed.   Posted: 08/07/2022 16:16:41

Gorgeous image. Should be a winner in any competition.   Posted: 08/13/2022 08:40:52
