About the Image(s)
I had been on the German coast of the Northern Sea in the town of Cuxhaven. Walking along the beach way I saw this fantastic backlight over the Wadden Sea. I just changed to a small aperature and short exposure to have only shadows with the intention to turn this into monochrome.
Parameters: Canon R5 (freehand), F/18; 1/1250 sec; ISO-100; 52mm with the lens Sigma 24-50mm ART.

I love the lighting on the water and the contrast of the sky, water, and foreground along with the people on the beach. Light streaking through the clouds adds drama. Posted: 08/13/2022 09:13:31
Excellent capture, Peter. The silhouettes against the luminous water, banded by a dark foreground and interesting background makes an intriguing image. Good work!
