About the Image(s)
This image was taken from my boat, while anchored very close to the structure. I converted this image to monochrome to draw out the patterns and structural elements. The camera I used was a Nikon D700, with a Nikkor 16-35mm lens at 35mm,f/9 @ 1/640. I tried to edit using the Perspective Control Tool in Lightroom and the Perspective Warp Tool in Photoshop, but did not like the results in either.

Monochrome is a good choice, it brings out the contrast between the soft clouds and the hard lines of the structures.   Posted: 05/06/2022 14:14:03
I concur with Jim's suggestions. A natural looking color image usually benefits from a contrast boost when converted to monochrome. Showing more water helps the viewer understand the purpose of these structures.   Posted: 05/16/2022 17:26:03
Great subject and angle, though I do agree with Jim and Allen about the contrast and including the water.   Posted: 05/18/2022 12:34:43
Add my agreement with Jim's suggested improvement. I personally like the darker skies and Jim captured it well.

Thanks Allen, Henry, Jim and Jim,
I agree that the uncropped version is better.
I still can't decide between the original and the darkened version.
