About the Image(s)

This was taken at a low angle with a 4/3 camera, using a 60mm focal length (120mm full frame equivalent). Taken at 1/40 sec @f/22 to maximize depth of field.

The image is all about patterns and texture. Contrast and texture were increased in Lightroom and Structure was increased in Silver Efex Pro.

You were successful in highlighting the patterns and textures in the scene. I do find my self distracted by the partial line in the foreground and the dark bit in the very back. I went in and cropped it to eliminate those elements.   Posted: 09/06/2021 17:56:46

Thanks Henry. I had not noticed the foreground line before. I'll go back and crop the foreground and lighten the background a bit.   Posted: 09/08/2021 13:13:10

Lines, shapes, and textures are important elements in monochrome; but this framing leave me frustrated by not showing anything about where these track go. A wider lens capturing more distance, implying a destination, could produce a more interesting image.   Posted: 09/14/2021 00:50:20
