About the Image(s)

Near my home is a large grain elevator where grains are brought in by semi-trucks and leave via rail cars. I captured this image with my infrared camera on a bright October harvest day with a 35 mm lens at 1/50, f/11 and ISO at 200. I did the basic conversion in Photoshop, increased contrast and then cropped.

A very good journalism photo of an industrial or agricultural plant. I like to see them in b/w. Would like to see more photos of details of this plant. Sure there are several motifs?   Posted: 06/09/2021 00:16:46

Thanks for the suggestion. I will have to go back to that facility, on a cloudy day, and look for more photo ops.   Posted: 06/14/2021 08:03:22

As you can see by my entry this month, subjects like this really appeal to me. Great base image, good choice of cropping. As the others said, it really tells a story. No suggestions.   Posted: 06/10/2021 16:54:58
