About the Image(s)
The texture on this tulip is Kathleen Clemons September Song (modified). I took all the texture off the red color in the tulip, since this is what the tulip is about – the contrasting colors -- while leaving a bit on the rest of the tulip, as Kathleen advises. Do you think the texture works? Shot with Canon 5D Mark III, Sigma 50 mm lens with Canon 500 D, 1/5 sec. at f/ 3.5, ISO 200, on a tripod.

Doug, I definitely think the texture works. It's lovely.
I love the one sharp line on left front, then the rest being softer.

I have a collection in LR with all of Kathleen's textures. I moved this image into that collection, & can move it around to the best texture. Now I have Topaz Texture Effects II set up (it is no longer available) where I can see the actual texture on the image. Posted: 05/20/2023 14:21:57
So you actually have all the textures in LR? I would never have thought of that ! What a great idea. Thanks, I think I will do the same.
Not sure how to see how the image will look with the texture in LR, how do you do that?
