The waves are really pretty. I think the sun is blown out and if you had been able to use a polarizer or density filter it would have looked better. I would have pointed my camera further to the right so the sunset wasn't smack dab in the middle, and then you could have eliminated some of the distractions on the left side, the white box and the brown thing in the upper left corner. Good capture on the waves. I do think the photo was too bright and I would have done some cropping. I revamped the photo by cropping the railing and other distractions. I used photoshop and I filled in the white of the blown out sun with surrounding colours. The photo is still too bright in my opinion. I agree with Donna and Maria that the sun is blown out and a bit too centered. To remedy this and remove distractions at left, I would crop in from the left about 25% but keep the railing, rope and life preserver at bottom right in the image to provide context.   Posted: 05/21/2023 15:20:00
