I often love shooting degenerate flowers. Is this successful? Not sure. Shot with a Sigma 105 Macro lens, Canon 5D Mark III, 0.3 sec. at f / 9.0, stack of 53. BTW -- I just got this lens as a prize from B & H for winning the their Optic contest in the Marco division. I submitted Leafscape 20, which was one of my monthly DDG selections. That photo seems to win something whenever I submit it.

I like it! Nice exposure, I love wilting flowers. I wish the petal pointing in the camera's direction was a bit more in focus at the tip. Congratulations on your win ! Posted: 12/17/2021 19:33:14

I really don't know if 53 were necessary. I have done stacks where I wish I had sliced it more finely; never the opposite. Helicon is really very simple to use. Posted: 12/26/2021 13:14:29
