About the Image(s)
The original rose was shot on a rail, stack of 28, Canon 5D Mark III, with the Canon 100 F/2.8L Marco lens, 0.6 sec. at f / 8.0. After my wife saw it, she said "Nice. See what you can do with it." So, I decided to experiment with textures. I chose Kathleen Clemons Bliss Enchantment texture, went to PS, & didn't really know what to do. So, for fun, I chose a blending mode near the bottom, took it to LAB color, played with adjustment layers, & this is the result. I really do need to learn more about applying textures.

This is the photo that goes with the blurb above. It was my fault -- I was not clear in asking this photo to be the photo that should be posted. The photo above is the original photo of the rose, just so the group could see where "Bliss Enchanted" (the photo attached here)comes from.   Posted: 09/06/2021 20:13:58

I wouldn't add a texture to the original, I think it's beautiful the way it is ! I love macro photography of flowers and I think this is really pretty.

Beautiful rose. The colors and everything is perfect. I like the original better than the modification.   Posted: 09/18/2021 01:17:36

I like the swirly lines of the original, but the blending mode in Bliss Enchanted creates a more compelling nature abstract with red balancing blue on top of yellow.   Posted: 09/24/2021 17:44:28
