Tsuruga Castle by David Yeo, EPSA

June 2021 - Tsuruga Castle

About the Image(s)

The information is as follows :- ISO 200, speed :-1/560 sec & f9.
This image was taken while I was in Japan quite some time a couple of years ago. It is called Tsuruga Castle. It is at the foot of Aizu-Wakamatsu station.
It is a very peaceful and enjoyable place for sightseeing. The castle is open year-round and the events such as candle festival & cherry blossom viewing take place in the park surrounding the castle.
I hope everyone will enjoy this scene.

Well, it's a lovely Castle. Nice exposure. I am noticing a green plastic something or other in front of it on the grass - what is that? I would take it out. Also the red thing to the right and the green tent. They distract from the Castle.   Posted: 06/12/2021 22:15:20

It is actually a green tent at the entrance to the castle.   Posted: 06/13/2021 01:15:52

Really nice image of the castle. This architecture really makes for great images. I have several from Japan from years ago. Does the castle need some straightening?   Posted: 06/15/2021 12:08:59
