About the Image(s)
This is a shot of the back of a tropical plant way past its prime that I got at Whole Foods -- I have no idea what it is. Another domestic dispute -- I love the shot, my wife thinks there really is not enough there to sustain interest. What do you think? Shot with a Canon 5D Mark III, 50 mm f.4 Sigma lens, 0.6 sec at f / 6.3, ISO 200, stack of 45.

Well, I feel the way your wife does. But that said, your exposure is great, the color is great, interesting textures. But I've seen other images of yours that I prefer .

Nice image with the black background. The lighting on the stalks is right on with the different greens.   Posted: 06/15/2021 11:36:47

I agree with the others - the image is well-exposed, well-composed and sharp throughout. The black background and controlled lighting emphasize the structure of the leaves. The image works for me as a study in leaf patterns, detailed textures and subtle changes in color.   Posted: 06/21/2021 14:27:10
