About the Image(s)

This was taken at Nichols Arboretum in Ann Arbor Michigan. I was there this weekend to take photos of the peonies but also shot this image. It was take on my z7 at ISO 64,F14 at 1/3 sec and 29mm. I then edited it in lightroom and on1 software. This is a stack image of 5 photos and I got lucky because if you look at the upper left of the image you will see that I was photo-bomb by Mr. Squirrel.

The composition with the fence, flowers and path leading to the right is very nice and well thought out. My only issue with the image is, on my screen, it is a little out of focus. Did you intentionally add a soft-focus effect in your edits?   Posted: 06/10/2022 11:23:28

It is tack sharp on my monitor, i-pad and phone. Something must have happen between the upload and posting.   Posted: 06/20/2022 18:19:03

Very pretty scene but I think the size of this photo isn't doing it justice. I have a 27" monitor and it is very small . Agree with Bill that it does look soft but again it may be do to the size. Try sending a photo that is 1000 pixel on longest size with a resolution between 72-100 and I think we will be able to see it more clearly.   Posted: 06/20/2022 11:30:28

Beautiful scene. I wonder if it would be improved by a slight step to the left so a little more look down the path.   Posted: 06/20/2022 12:57:06

From my memory the path was narrow with vegetation right up to it. To get more of the path I would have lost the flowers in the background and also my photo-bomb squirel.   Posted: 06/20/2022 18:22:07

Lovely image with impact. The trail is inviting to me and I would like to walk further into the scene. The colors are soothing and I like the splash of floral colors. Very nice!   Posted: 06/22/2022 12:39:03

I like the serenity of the forest and the path provides a nice leading line. For my taste I would like to see a larger and brighter image.   Posted: 06/23/2022 11:13:20
