About the Image(s)
While walking the streets of Bruges, Belgium, this street scene and carriage really caught my attention – to me, it was a view into the past.
The camera used was a pocket mirrorless GM1 Lumix, 32 mm lens; camera settings were ISO 200, shutter priority at 1/640 (to stop action) with F 5.6 aperture. Software used is ON 1 Raw 2022. Editing consisted of cloning out the car, applying tone and color sliders, making a few local adjustments; adding the sunshine, glow and vignette filters followed by a 5x7 crop.

You definitely made some improvements bu your processing. Removing the car and cropping were a good idea. I'm troubled by the piece of a passenger in the carriage. Too bad there is something blocking the guy's face. The roan has a very light orange-ish area that seems off to my eye as well. Your original makes me think that horse was actually more brown. Hope this has some nice memories for you.   Posted: 05/20/2022 11:16:30

Good example of significant improvement from original. The placement of the awning sort of appears to go over the horses head. I agree the the man's face is blocked and would be better not. Interesting that the horse hooves are 2 different colors.   Posted: 05/21/2022 07:50:08
You did take on a challenge with this image and I can appreciate the work you have done. I think the horse may have "booties" on therefore the color changes. Anyway, you have captured a good memory of Bruges.   Posted: 05/23/2022 16:53:11
