About the Image(s)

This is an image of the lighthouse at Marble Head, Ohio. I shot it in late October in the evening. Camera settings were 24mm, at F/13 and 2sec exposure. I used a polarizer and a graduated filter on the lens. Editing was done in lightroom, topaz, photoshop and on1 software. Topaz was used for denoising, I used lightroom for general editing and the radial filter to put some more light on the lighthouse and the rock towards the left of the photo. I used the glow feature of on1 for the water. Also used On1 for color enhancing, detail and the border. I used the sky replacement in Photoshop.

I like the post processing work you have done on this image. The sky is greatly improved with the pink being emphasized.
Also, the rocky shoreline with water has more interest. I also like the composition in this image. The placement of the light house with a backdrop of trees is nicely located in the frame. Along with the leading line up to it. Very nice! Almost forgot the slim white stroke around the image. It's a finishing touch.   Posted: 12/14/2021 10:01:53

I agree with Priscilla. A great shot, improved with much finesse in post processing!   Posted: 12/14/2021 18:35:03

very nice work with the sky and details in the lighthouse
there is a little halo effect around the trees but that does not significantly detract   Posted: 12/16/2021 13:39:49

Very nice image, the original and your final version. If you do a sky replacement and wish to use the image in PID competition you need to make sure the sky replaced is using one of your own skies and not from a vendor. With tat in mind, this could be a winner.   Posted: 12/25/2021 12:45:42
