About the Image(s)

This is a photo of Harry, one of the kittens that we rescued last fall Of course if you have ever tried to take pictures of animals you quickly find out that they do not co-operate at all so it took a bit to get this photo. I was a bit lazy so I just used my speed lights for this image. I set three of them up, one on the background the other two to the left and right of the subject. Each one was set to a desired power to get the effect that I wanted. I then edited it in Lightroom and on1. I know that his eyes seem to be bright, but I did not do any type of enhancing to them, they are naturally like that.

Nice image, those stand out and make the picture It's a sharp picture and it looks like Harry was about to take off.   Posted: 06/09/2021 15:31:18

Nice photo and background. Looks sharp. I think cat's eyes routinely draw my attention.   Posted: 06/22/2021 22:23:25

Yes it looks like you caught one of those raw moments when the cat appears to be posing for you. Nice blurring of the background. I think it would be interesting if you added a catch light to his eyes.   Posted: 06/23/2021 10:59:33

Harry is one handsome fellow and you have a lovely portrait. I love it! Thanks for rescuing him. My boy was born feral and I got him when he was tiny. He doesn't model but I'm glad your guy does. Well done!!   Posted: 06/24/2021 13:25:50

Sweet Harry......a great capture. I really like the composition with the blue mottled background and the white mat the cat is sitting on. Tail UP........he is thinking of his next move.   Posted: 06/25/2021 11:25:33

Allen-A nice pose of Harry with the blurred background but you forgot to remove black spot right in the middle which caught my eyes. This could have been removed by cloning tool easily.
Adding a catch light was a good idea as suggested by John.
