I pumped up the vibrance in Lightroom and that's about it. My wife and I are vacationing in Ogunquit, Maine. This lighthouse is a popular spot. We hope to go back and photograph under better lighting conditions.

colorful place. have you ever tried putting some clarity on the clouds so they won't be so flat. It helped me on a similar photo in Nova Scotia   Posted: 05/15/2021 19:13:32

John this is a lovely image. However, I felt it is lacking something so I went into photoshop and changed the sky then image adjustment and brightened it up a bit. Hope you like it.   Posted: 05/16/2021 05:41:58

Hi John, Typical Maine, I thought and then looked at your comments and it was Maine. A photographic spot and you did well with a not so good sky but a good composition. I liked the fact you included the rocky foreground. Nice work!   Posted: 05/23/2021 15:54:25

Very nice scene but I do agree with other that the sky needs something. The house is absolutely adorable. Congrats on the nuptial, hope you both enjoy the vacation!!   Posted: 05/26/2021 12:09:56

Lovely image...very evocative of the time and place. I agree about the sky. Love the rocks. Just a thought, John...do you think the red building at the front detracts? Have you tried it in mono? Lovely nonetheless.   Posted: 05/30/2021 12:50:47
