About the Image(s)
This was taken in my house from a plant that I had purchased. It was lighted from the outside window and dining room light above. I place a black poster board behind it. I took it with my Olympus OM-1, Olympus 60mm macro lens at 1/4th second, f8, and ISO 200. The camera was on a tripod. I did not crop much or make other adjustment other than to increase the saturation some to bring out more yellow.

Tom, I find it astonishing you were able to maintain sharpness throughout the flower at an aperture of f/8. The soft lighting adds to the quality, well composed and focussed. Well done.   Posted: 05/15/2022 13:13:54
OMK-1 is a film camera! Well done! All set up and well visualized. The black background offsets the flower perfectly. the exposure is perfect and the flower well placed. depth of field works too! You did it!

I used my new, OM-1 that is a mirrorless, digital camera. It came out on the 50th anniversary of the film OM-1 camera. Sorry about the confusion.   Posted: 05/18/2022 12:49:25
Tom, your flower image is sharp and smooth. I like your Diagonal composition, it's from right side down corner toward up left- the Diagonal composition. The black background makes the flower stand out.   Posted: 05/19/2022 01:12:09
