This photo was taken in 2012.
I used Nikon D200 with 70-300mm lens, camera set at f/22, 1/125
This sunset is a special natural phenomenon. During a certain period of February every year, the sun will set in the center of the Golden Gate Bridge.
How I did:
Since I forgot to bring ND filter, although I set the aperture to minimum f/22, the sun still over exposed. The only way to improve is use PS to tweaking in post process. I replaced the sun from other photo,
I also attached couple photos showing the sunset in different positions for your reference

Very nice golden glow image well composed with interest throughout. To see the main sail at center of sun, including the detail in the mask, is great Tony. The only tick is a personal one. When processing a body of water I prefer not to sharpen it as much. Just sharing. Posted: 05/12/2021 18:05:20
I too like the positioning of the sun and the sailboat. I also liked the mist or haze underneath the bridge. I thought it was very well composed and I did not mind the sharpness of the water at all. Posted: 05/14/2021 08:45:42

I always get hung up on images where the action is going towards the near edge of the frame. I don't think it matters. But since you are moving stuff in photoshop anyway, Maybe you could move the boats to other positions. The photo has the potential to be a real best seller in a souvenir shop or serious photo gallery. I love it! Posted: 05/23/2021 17:32:26
