I have lived in Boise, Idaho, for most of my life. I currently reside in Boise but my work as a Project Manager for AT&T took me to several other states. While I was in college, I started working for the Forest Service as a smoke jumper out of McCall, Idaho, and Fairbanks, Alaska. After graduation, I taught high school and then went to work for AT&T until I retired in December of 1999.

I am the married father of 5, grandfather of 17, and great grandfather of 6. My hobbies now that I am retired are golf, fly fishing and photography. I have long had an interest in photography but I had to put it on hold while I was working and raising my family.

My first digital camera was a Nikon D50. I have since owned a Nikon D7000, D750, D810, D500. I currently am using a Nikon mirrorless Z7. I do landscape photography primarily but I took up still-life photography and worked in my garage studio during the Covid era.

I belong to 3 local camera clubs and I am looking forward to joining the Digital group of PSA.
